A chess championship

A chess championship organized by the Republican party was held in Yerevan, on December 24. The championship was also attended by the representatives of Tavoush region-Gagik Khasikyan (Koghb), Marine Gharagyozyan (Koghb) and Arman Chilingaryan (Jujevan). In the men's and women's individual tournaments Gagik Khasikyan and Marine Gharagyozyan took the second and third prizes correspondingly. They were awarded medals and souvenirs. It is noteworthy that the championship was attended by about a dozen of chess-players.
