The first kindergarten in Koghb started in August of 1949 with Astghik Azatyan as the first director. It originally was in a home, but a building was built in 1965. In 1996, the village authorities assumed responsibility for the management of the kindergarten. After Astghik Azatyan, Sirush Barseghyan has been the director for the last 37 years.

Progress and acquisitions

Repairs to the building, acquisition of new toys, and creating a class specifically for younger children.

Other Information

In 1994-1995 the kindergarten has changed to a school. At the age of 10, children graduate from elementary school and continue their studies starting at the fifth grade of secondary school. The school worked for 10 years and was closed as a result of optimizing the educational system. Now great attention is paid to the intellectual, cultural, environmental education and comprehension of elementary mathematical knowledge of children.
